The world of blogging will sweep me away! Yesterday I spent hours trying to set up a template, choosing a design, colors, fonts, etc. I'm afraid this technology stuff is wayyyyyy too complicated for little 'ole me [she says in her best southern accent].
I have signed up for my first reading challenge.....it is the Thriller & Suspense Reading Challenge 2010.
TIMELINE: Jan. 1, 2010 - December 31, 2010
RULES: Read 12 thrillers in 2010
You can find all the details http://www.bookchickcity.com/2009/05/thriller-suspense-challenge-2010_01.html. You need to sign up for this challenge on Book Chick City's blog. Prizes are available and you do not have to be a blogger to participate in the challenge. There are many different sub-genre's of thriller so if you are confused about what would count as a "thriller" look at Book Chick City's blog. Let me know if you are going to participate in this reading challenge - I would enjoy knowing what books you choose to read.
I don't have a completed list for this challenge but the first two books on the list are:
The Lovely Bones
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Anyone read either of these books? I started Lovely Bones yesterday and was immediately drawn in by the book. The book starts with an ugly murder [not that a murder is "pretty" but this type is especially heinous because a young girl is killed] and the book is written from her voice. She tells this story - post mortem. Looking forward to reading more.
Hope you have a blessed day!

- I am quickly approaching 50 and wonder where has my life gone. My husband and I have four children and live in a small community just outside Albuquerque, NM. I consider myself an avid reader and look forward to blogging about books, authors and my other hobbies. In addition to reading, I enjoy beading [hoping to start a jewelry business this year], sewing, knitting, scrapbooking and shopping.
